Intercultural Communication Program (for Saudis)
An advanced strategic program that develops Saudis’ skills in communicating with diverse societies and cultures, and enhances their readiness for effective international representation. The program enables them to convey Saudi experiences and values authentically, effectively, and influentially between the Kingdom and the people from all across the world- particularly in the context of multicultural workplaces, and the hosting and handling of foreign visitors and delegations from diverse cultural backgrounds.
About the course
The Intercultural Communication Program for Saudis aims to build participants’ capacity for conscious and effective interaction in international and multicultural environments by developing communication skills, enhancing cultural sensitivity, and fostering an understanding of dialogue techniques and how to navigate cultural differences.
The core of the program focuses on enabling the participants to present themselves, their institutions, and their country in a professional manner that reflects the Saudi national identity, and supports the Kingdom’s effective international presence. The program also helps prepare participants to build relationships based on mutual respect, deepen shared understanding, and to highlight cultural diversity as a force for harmony and peace, as well as an opportunity for cooperation and the exchange of experiences.

Understanding the concept of intercultural communication and its importance in building bridges of understanding and trust between cultures.
Developing cultural awareness, and understanding the impact of cultural values and symbols on shaping communication styles and behavior.
Developing intercultural communication skills, including how to conduct constructive dialogue, active listening, articulating your message clearly, and nonverbal communication.
Enhancing cultural sensitivity and the ability to recognize cultural differences and address them with flexibility and respect.
